How we work safely

Clear Position prepares evidence, structure and questions. It does not replace regulated professional advice.

The value of Clear Position is surgical preparation: chronology, document architecture, planning-material review, ecological-material triage, issue mapping, plan comparison, evidence indexing and adviser-ready briefing. That work can sit before, beside or underneath professional advice — but it is not legal representation.

What Clear Position provides

  • Evidence and document organisation
  • Chronology and issue mapping
  • Planning, ecology, BNG and Section 106 document triage
  • Overlay and visual evidence preparation where appropriate
  • Adviser-ready briefing packs and question lists
  • Support deciding what professional input may be needed

What Clear Position does not provide

  • Legal advice or legal representation
  • Conduct of litigation or rights of audience
  • Conveyancing or reserved legal instruments
  • Planning consultancy, ecological consultancy or surveying advice
  • Regulated claims-management services
  • Guaranteed outcomes, compensation recovery or professional determinations

Why this distinction matters

The gap is not legal representation. The gap is preparation.

Complex matters often fail because the client’s material is overwhelming before a solicitor, barrister, mediator, planner, ecologist or surveyor can efficiently assess it. Clear Position helps turn that material into a coherent working structure so professional time can be focused on advice, judgment and decision-making.

Client material before preparation

Documents scattered across years, technical reports not compared, plans misunderstood, correspondence unindexed, emotion mixed with evidence and no controlled chronology.

Client material after preparation

Defined issue map, chronology, evidence index, plan comparison notes, questions for professionals, next-step options and a clearer route into regulated or specialist advice where needed.

Pricing boundary

Fixed products first. Deeper or ongoing support only after scope is clear.

Initial products are defined outputs. Ongoing support, urgent support, group coordination, complex adviser preparation or on-site scoping is scoped separately with agreed limits. Where hourly support is appropriate, current working rates are typically £95–£145/hour depending on urgency, complexity and scope. On-site scoping visits are considered only after the initial call and are quoted separately with any fixed scoping fee, travel time, travel costs and preparation time agreed in advance. Prices are currently shown without VAT because Clear Position is not currently VAT registered.

Guided scoping

Let's scope this.

This short guided form helps identify the right Clear Position route before confirming a free 20-minute scoping chat. It is not a legal-advice service, does not create a client relationship until scope is agreed, and does not automatically book an on-site visit.

Submitting a preferred date/time does not automatically confirm the appointment. Clear Position will review the enquiry first and reply personally.
